Zone1 Afterlife in Judaism

I'm glad you asked. Chronicles was written in the Second Temple Period. After the Judeans became part of the Persian Empire, and were exposed to the Zoroastrian concept of duality. - Ahura-Madza (the Good God) being opposed by Ahriman (the Evil God). It was at that point that "Satan" started developing, not so much as a "Demon" but as an adversary of God.

A few problems with this. First and foremost, Satan in the Old Testament is seen as an agent of God, but in the New Testament, as God's adversary - again, those Zoroastrians having an influence.

There was a great YouTube video, that traces the evolution of Satan in Christian belief. Unfortunately the original creator took down his channel, but there are copies.

LOL, “An Atheist Reads the Bible”.

The very start of his premise is a lie, claiming he doesn’t exist.

To add to this, the concept of an eternal tormenting hell is counter to the "Loving God" stance in Christianity. There is a theologian who takes, not a new stance, but eloquently explains the case for Annihilationism.

It's a semi-long read, but well worth it if you're interested in a Christian theologian who doesn't believe in an eternal tormenting hell.... God forbid.

This person is correct. People will actually DIE in the Lake of Fire which occurs at the end of Jesus' Millennial Reign from Jerusalem

An Atheist Reads the Bible”.

more so - the atheists ... are who do read the bibles.

few that are religious would read past the first page of either the three desert documents.

truth be told ...

Then God said, “Let us make life in our image, in our likeness, the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky the livestock and all the wild animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground.”

through corrections - is how to read further to the next forgery and fallacy bumping through nearly every page of their 10000 page documents - a herculean task indeed.

Not at all.

You see, there's a whole bunch of Gods you don't believe in. You don't believe in Allah, Krishna, Amaterasu, Zeus, Ammon-Ra, Odin, The Great Spirit.

I just believe in one less than you do.

But a lot of what Christians believe about "Satan" and "Hell" can't be found anywhere in the Bible, but are inventions of later writers, such as Dante and Milton.

As I stated, many casual Christians do have the wrong beliefs about hell. That still has nothing to do with what the Bible‘s version of hell is and saying it was influenced by Greek mythology.

jesus rejected judaism, mosaic law, ... and taught the heavenly religion of antiquity - liberation theology, self determination.
He ended the first covenant and established a New Covenant.

no, they were crucified whatever they would have accomplished if allowed to live will never be known - that's why they - jews - romans (christians) - killed him.

the c-bible is written by the crucifiers and includes the phony 10 commandments made up by moses and the other fallacies of genesis and everything else jewish and whatever else written in that book.

provide the document written by jesus as you claim and there then might be ground for you to stand on.

Can you back any of these claims up? No. You are just a rambling idiot.

oh, have you provided the heavenly tablets etched w/ 10 commandments claimed by moses the liar - yet, you've only been given ample time over and over again ... what's the hangup.

no religious person would read or take seriously any of the desert bibles, books of forgeries and fallacies - and anything written by moses or most of those other self delusional daydreamers.

So what are “religious people” supposed to follow? You?

If you do all the Mitzvahs you will be judged ( If you pass muster then what ?)
There is a notion of judgment after death in Judaism. There are different ideas about what happens to the soul after that but not consensus. Here are some ideas

not forgeries and fallacies ...

the spoken religion of antiquity - the triumph of good vs evil - provided a&e by the heavens for their journey to acquire self determination and remission to paradise.

Kind of strange that Judaism 2.0 still has no idea about the afterlife and just has several different theories.

There is no question what ancient Judaism believed what happened when one died. Even the righteous went down to She’ol, with very few exceptions like Elijah who was “taken up” directly to Heaven.

In those times even the “good people” (who were still sinners) could not get into heaven, because no one paid for those sins. Although the Jews had their rituals, calf and goat blood do not pay for sins. So they went down to Abraham’s bosom to wait. Only the Christ’s blood could lay that debt. Once that debt was paid, the doors to heaven opened.

The Hebrew Bible is pretty clear that death renders the living soul practically "nothing", until the day of resurrection/re-creation. When we die we return to the dust and know nothing. Death for all intents and purposes is sleep until we are summoned back into existence. The prophet Samuel was asleep in death, and awakened by YHWH's permission, through the witch of Endor, to prophecy against King Saul, David's enemy. So that, and a few other passages in the Hebrew Bible, indicate, that something remains of us after death, but it's a "shade", a mere shadow of what we are now, as a living soul. Death is what it implies. Death. We are almost nothing, if anything until we are brought back to life.

Rabbinic Judaism through their kabbalah mysticism, asserts that the human soul can reincarnate in another body. It can exist outside of the body, fully conscious, and enter another body in a womb..etc. All of that is alien to the Hebrew Bible. The ancient Israelites believed death was essentially losing one's life, everything that a person is while alive until YHWH intervenes and "recalls" the person back into existence. YHWH is existence itself. Life with all of its laws and powers/energies. The universe, at a quantum level, is like a recorder and it has a memory of us. We will be re-created in the future or brought back into existence.

It is amazing how completely wrong you can be in a single post. Good job!
