After this...

An honest examination of Kirk's positions based on his own remarks reveals a man who held bigoted beliefs about gays, blacks, was a climate change denier, a gun rights zealot, espoused antisemitic views, and was Islamophobic. Making him a MAGAist's MAGAist. As a human being Kirk was not worthy of the colossally outsized response to his tragic murder. Rather, his value to the Right lies in the extent to which his death has been politicized.

That’s a whole lot of feelings you have there. Facts. Not so much.

I understand that you've lost your motherfucking mind.

One person did a shooting, a white, male, conservative, raised in a deeply red, religous and gun-loving state.

But you're online whipping yourself up into a hate-rage against what you perceive as "the left."

**** you and your feelings.

Understand?

He was raised in a conservative home, and he may at one time felt as a conservative, but the man who pulled the trigger was NO conservative.
On at least one of his unfired bullets, was the word 'fascist'. Which side is it that has been CONSTANTLY ALL OVER THE INTERNET been using that term? Which side is it, that hates Charlie Kirk? Which side is it that has threatened Kirk over and over again for years now?

There is no doubt he was making light of the tragedy in San Francisco and used it to try and score political points. But he lied about the cashless bond situation in San Fran. Murderers and violent offenders do not get the chance at cashless bail, but you wouldn't know that listening to Mr. Kirk. If that makes you feel good about him, I don't care. He didn't deserve to have his life ended that way over it.
Tragedy?

Kirk was MURDERED at age 31 because you leftists kept screamimg he was a racist….a fascist….an evil man. THAT is a tragedy!

And just look at this thread! The poor young man is dead, and you’re trampling over his grave with continuing lies.

Well, you could stand up and be heard. You could push for the change that is necessary.

You could educate yourself on what can be done.
tragic thing is that we’ve learned from Kirk’s murder that when a cinservative stands up and shares their viewpoints, he is smeared with lies and venom until some unstable kid kills him.

Stand up and be heard? After what the Left did to Kirk? Smear him with horrible lies. And then, even after he’s dead, the lies and venom keep on coming. They’ve INCREASED.

The truth is that the Left was threatened by Kirk’s exposing young college kids to something other than radical leftism, so they do what they always do: demean, dehumanize, and delegitimize the conservative.

And it cost Kirk his life.

The US is heading towards civil war division.

I really, really can't picture Americans getting into an actual civil war. It seems incredibly far-fetched.

But something that is interesting is that the late William Cooper (author of the infamous book Behold a Pale Horse) about 25 years ago said that he thinks the US is heading toward a civil war.

A friend of mine who is a documentary filmmaker actually interviewed him, a couple years before he was killed. And in that interview he said he thinks the US is going to end up in a civil war.

I for one think that the PTSB are trying hard to get that to happen. Or at least it appears that way. And sadly, too many people are going along with it.... just like marionettes.

Many of the so-called ''right'' wingers are falling for the same trap that was run on J6. And very eagerly, unfortunately.

Except it's online now. And at a time when they're rolling out technology to find threatening content. And it's no irony that the 1st Amendment debate is front and center.

What is humorous to me, and I've said this before, is that so many seem to have adopted the very naive notion that they'll be spared from the consequences of the coercion in which they foolishly participate.

In reality, they'll be the first to be thrown under the bus once their usefulness has run its course. Much like we saw with the J6 operation.

Absolutely! That's what I've been trying to say around here. Don't fall for the trap! I feel like I've said this many times, but it's still true: too many people are reacting in the exact way they've been manipulated to react.

Yeah, they don't even really bother with tying a carrot to the string on the end of the stick any more.

They don't have to.

I want to reply to that because you added on to your post after I replied...

That's another thing that is kinda maddening, imo. Too many folks don't seem to grok that when you hand over power to the government when someone you like and trust is in power... that same power is going to be in the hands of someone you don't trust at all, when the opposing 'side' gets back in power. So all they're doing is shooting themselves in the foot while thinking they're "owning" the libtards.

(Personally I don't think it matters which so-called side is in power....the point is, when one is tricked into trading liberty for "security", you don't get the liberty back, and you end up with neither. Didn't our founders warn us about that? And people don't listen.)

Yeah, they're just passing the baton off from administration to adminstration, with each administration fulfilling its specific role as it pertains to the longer-term gambit at whatever stage on the timeline to our serfdom we happen to be.

And you could stand up and be heard, by telling your side, the ones who have historically been in the streets causing violence, that what they have been doing for decades is the wrong approach.

Well, the "right approach" is what when you have the people who rule who don't want to listen?

Well, it would if you didn't see how other countries ended up at civil war.

What Trump is doing, is leading people towards that extremism, that "us verses them" approach.

At Kirk's funeral he said "I hate my opponents", that was one of many such things Trump has done to ferment division, and Trump's not the only one, just one of the most vocal.

After this, after I saw the service, how Erika conquered sorrow itself to deliver a message of forgiveness, how she pleaded for unity, I couldn't take it anymore. I am a conservative, but a political atheist. I don't believe in a two-party system; however, I find that my views constantly draw the ire of the political left. The same political left that spawned the assassin who killed Charlie Kirk. After what has transpired, I have been radicalized. I find that this is a battle I cannot avoid. I don't go looking for a battle to fight, but I feel this battle has found me. I feel, as a conservative, something stirring within me. I want to fight back in my own way, conquer this senseless violence with the gifts I have been given. Not with fists or guns, but with speech and intelligence. With raw facts and reality. With brains, not brawn.

All I ever wanted for America was for her citizens to get along, but I fear that time may have long since passed. Can I be a political pacifist anymore? Can I sit idly by while others fight for their beliefs in the political arena? I feel like I can no longer run from this anymore.

The old saying goes: "It is better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war." Though I wouldn't qualify this as a war... yet. I never wanted to be anyone's enemy, but on the left, they insist on making me one. So be it. If they wish to wage a political fight, one done with words instead of bullets, so be it. I am here. The gauntlet is thrown.

After this, there can be given no quarter to those who insist on violence to quell the speech of those they disagree with. I will be as Charlie was, a challenger, a debater, and a God fearing conservative.

May God rest your soul, Charlie.

People on youtube are now attacking Erika, calling her emotion "fake tears", saying she is only in it for the money....

Don't get me wrong, I know how to fight. If you've seen me on this board in the past, you'll know.

But now, I'm a reluctant warrior. Don't mistake my reticence for weakness.

Yeah, its disgusting, it wasnt enough to laugh and mock kirk for getting murdered, now they are going after his widow.

This is the left for you.
Moderate Dems and independents see what the Democrat Party now stands for - and are leaving in droves.

There are probably around 25% hard-core leftists who will never change, some of whom post here, but you don’t win elections with 25%.

Every day I think I’ve seen the absolute worst that Dems have sunk to - and then I wake up the next morning.

Not a war, but voting to dissolve the union would be the easiest ballot I could ever cast.
