The question is not as far fetched as it might seem. I understand the Kamala problem, but it would be a step to mitigate the party's impending catastrophe.

Either way, Trump wins in 2024, but the Dems might survive.

Democrats protect their own, no matter what the crime.

Democrats created a committee whose sole reason for existing for decades was to pay for the silence of their aexual harassment / assault victims. When this story exploded other news not one Democrat, not the Ethics Committee, acted to hold 1 single individual accountable. Instead they allowed them to all retire.

Hunter Biden could come out with a book next month called 'How dad & I f*ed the country whole making the family rich', could confess to every crime and that Joe took part in it all and not one sine Democrat would support Impeachment.

Being a Democratic president, defeating Trump, belonging to the party that impeached Trump – all high crimes and misdemeanors as far as the partisan right is concerned.
