According to DHS status indicators, over 379,000 criminal aliens have been booked into local Texas jails between June 1, 2011, and August 31, 2022, of which over 261,000 were classified as illegal aliens by DHS.
Over the course of their entire Texas criminal careers, these 261,000 illegal aliens were charged with more than 635,000 criminal offenses which included arrests for 1,384 homicide charges; 75,928 assault charges; 18,740 burglary charges; 79,647 drug charges; 1171 kidnapping charges; 36,018 theft charges; 54,257 obstructing police charges; 4,565 robbery charges; 7,928 sexual assault charges; 8,985 sexual offense charges; and 9,018 weapon charges. DPS criminal history records reflect those criminal charges have thus far resulted in over 272,000 convictions including 652 homicide convictions; 30,568 assault convictions; 9,470 burglary convictions; 38,095 drug convictions; 395 kidnapping convictions; 16,207 theft convictions; 25,038 obstructing police convictions; 2,506 robbery convictions; 4,006 sexual assault convictions; 4,609 sexual offense convictions; and 3,782 weapon convictions.
