You are the idiot that made the claim that the idiot basketball player is the first openly gay person to play professional sports, not me. I don't have to prove Rodman announced he was gay in a national magazine, I have pictures.
That's because he is the first openly gay major american athlete in major sports. You made the claim that Dennis Rodman came out as gay while he was playing, he did no such thing.
You and your bigoted views lose....AGAIN.
Quite true, if we ignore everyone who came before him, like Ray McDonald, who actually got arrested for having sex with a man in Washington DC when he was a running back with the Redskins.
Personally, I don't like ignoring facts, even if they don't fit the current political agenda.
If your real objection is the abuse of these outings for political agenda
and not for honesty and freedom sake, I AGREE with you that would defeat the purpose.
for example, how are people treated who used to be gay or bi
but then are HONEST in coming out and saying they are now STRAIGHT.
Are THESE people who changed treated with equal respect as those
who remain oriented gay or bi, etc. for the rest of their lives?
if all these OUTINGS were treated with equal respect, yes I would have
even greater respect. until we get to that point, I understand,
people come out with the truth in increments until we build an
unconditional environment that can HANDLE the whole truth,
including the other sides of stories that are conveniently skirted or silenced yet.
we arent there yet, but I do believe we will get there, especially wiht
people being so honest about pointing out the inconsistencies for poltiical agenda.
thank you QW for doing your part, and I hope others come out with their
honest opinions also so we can all learn what it REALLY means to
accept and include all people of all diverse views EQUALLY.
