Just another example of spouting rhetoric with nobody to call them on it. Of course check cashing places gouge everyone. Predominately their customers are blacks and Hispanics because there are more poor Blacks and Hispanics. Not being able to afford a bank account and being forced to be prey for check cashing places is part of why they remain poor.

In what ******* universe does charging $35 per overdraft make sense when someone doesn't have any money in the account to overdraft?

Come up with a form of punishment that makes sense...like not allowing them to make transactions on credit (transactions that aren't concluded at the time of the transaction).

But charge them money?
