One dimentional.Most actors and actress are pretty
intelligent and diverse.With the men,it's their ability to be
just as nasty gnarly playing a Heavy as when Playing
a congenial Dad or lead hero.
Women aren't much different.Sommers could not even come close
to playing a convincing Femme Fatale or Film Noir part.
Of course she grew into acting at a really piss poor time.

many if Any had hero's as guards.In fact,that is the model.
Sometimes an Inmate can be a Hero like " Brooks "
played to perfection by James Whitmore in :
Shawshank Redemption.

with Little Hume Cronyn { His baddest heavy role }
as a sadistic Prison captain who delights in acting
tough.Oh! the Movie is :

Prison ain't like in the movies. The only people the captain could be sadistic toward would be the employees. Convict abuse is not tolerated.
