So if the people in that church think he/she is evil, well then, I guess he showed them what real evil is. Being gay isn't hurting anyone. It's like not getting vaccinated. It should be your own personal choice. And it's not hurting anyone else so I don't know why Christians have such a big problem with it.

I'm not defending the person. If there is a hell, he/she is now in it. But being gay doesn't send you to hell. And maybe you shouldn't preach that to young kids knowing that 5% of them are going to be gay. Better to accept them and not use them as political footballs.

I watch a lot of shows where they try to analyze the serial killer. They certainly can diagnose someone who's a sociopath but there really isn't a cure.

Now there are people with psychopathic tendencies who live their whole lives and never kill anyone. And probably people who are open to gay experiences but will never act on them.

To come out to your family? I can't imagine. That's beyond just wanting to get F'ed in the A every once in awhile. Like, to want to be married to another dude? My dad's best man is a married 80 year old. He and his husband are nice men. They are just gay. I can't say it's deviant because they live, act, talk, sound, dress just like the rest of us.
