We are no more fixated than we would have been during the 1940s. Why do you think the world should cry over the Holocaust but not over other ethnically targeted slaughter?

There are some Jews here who justify slaughter, who justify Israel's racial supremacist ideology, who insult other Jews as "self loathing", who ridicule Palestinians and make light of their suffering.
