Abrego-Garcia Case Dismissed

No there was an order of deportation

He was given a bond and permitted to work while we found a third party country

Except no one bothered to look for one.

The absurdity of sending people to third-party countries is pretty stupid. Paying other countries to take a few immigrants, when we could probably put them to work ourselves, is dumb.

ou both have so much horseshit. He illegally crossed in 2011-2012 as an unaccompanied teenager.

2011: At 16 years old, Abrego García fled to the United States without papers. He crossed the border close to McAllen, Texas, and Reynosa, México. He joined his brother César, now a U.S. citizen, in Maryland, where he found a job in construction.
Because his parents sent him to get him away from the gang violence.

Not sure why you think dwelling on semantics makes your points cogent.

None of that is accurate. He had a work permit before any of this started

You need to either get your facts straight or stop lying

We are now. African countries will take him

We found one in Africa so he goes.

He only got a work permit when he was granted bond after he was ordered deported and lost asylum claim

But the courts DID agree his life would be in danger if he went back and granted him a work permit.
Correct the immigration court said he had legit threats from rival gangs and he was permitted to work while on bond awaiting his deportation.

Well, no, not really.

The ironic thing is that he's already agreed to go to Costa Rica, but Trump doesn't want to send him there because it would be too easy for him to come back once his marriage Green card is approved.
Yes really

He can go to CR if he wants

Nobody is stopping him from buying a plane ticket and going

Why won’t he?

He came here illegally, alone

He only claimed asylum after he was caught and that claim was denied
His asylum claim was not denied.

He was granted “withholding from deportation” and given a work permit

Yes it was

He was granted a withholding from deportation to his home country

But not a third party country

Like one of the African nations willing to take him now

No one even considered deportation to a third party country until he was mistakenly sent to that hellhole prison

And yes the Admin admitted it was a mistake

All of which was nullified when he married a US Citizen.

Even SCOTUS has ruled his deportation is illegal.

Why are we paying African Countries tens of thousands of dollars to take immigrants (and only a handful of them.)?

Seems like a waste of resources that can be better put to use deporting people whose home countries ARE willing to take them.

No doubt it was a mistake, he wasn’t suppose to go back to his home country due to fears from a rival gang

The court literally ordered third party deportation

You are right that nobody did anything with the order for four years

Nope. Stop lying (you keep doing it)

Not fears of a “rival gang”… fears of being forced into a particular gang… which was why he left
