Germany is set to shutdown its last few nuclear reactors, because you know the cleanest and most efficient means of power generation just makes too much sense. Their massive wind and solar investments have peaked and gone bust.

Turns out they are far too reliant on Russian gas, just like President Trump warned them. Of course President Trump was ridiculed for it.

Just before the body bags start lining up. The Germans were (ARE) staring down the face of doom as far as their energy decisions. The "alternatives" have been LARGELY a side show that never produced the EQUIVALENT of ONE nuclear plant that they've shut down.

MAYBE -- they could re-commission one while they get more generation capacity.

I fear that America is going in the opposite direction. Already many states, mostly by not all Blue (see Texas' love affair with windfarms), have made a mess of power generation and NG distribution.

The clown in the White House, or wherever the hell he is, has made matters far worse and a domino effect is already underway nationally.

People with deep pockets are influencing domestic policies of many nations, much to the detriment of them and their people. There are many policies of Western nations that simply don't make sense and some don't even get a conversation in the media and they wonder why Russia strikes.

You will never hear China or Russia criticize Americas open border or ban on fracking I guarantee you this, so CNN, MSNBC and RINOS have some strong allies who share their opinion...
