Clearly you have no idea what the 14th Amendment states as it is the exact
opposite of your idiotic interpretation.
The 14th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified on July 9, 1868, and granted citizenship to “all persons born or naturalized in the United States,” which included former slaves recently freed.
In addition, it forbids states from denying any person "life, liberty or property, without due process of law" or to "deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” By directly mentioning the role of the states, the 14th Amendment greatly expanded the protection of civil rights to all Americans and is cited in more litigation than any other amendment.
You just affirmed the baby's
right to life and the unconstitutionality of Roe vs. Wade.
You need to actually read and comprehend what you just posted. It clearly says anyone BORN or naturalized in the United States. A fetus isn't born or naturalized while it's still inside the woman's body. Therefore your argument is worthless and you shows you don't understand the meaning of words in the english language. I do and so do most intelligent people. You, not so much.
You're reading comprehension is either that of a kindergartener or you're a typical disingenuous liberal. There are multiple clauses in the 14th Amendment. That's why it says "
in addition". The first clause - the one you cited - is regarding
citizenship. It then shifts gears. "
In addition, it forbids states from denying any person life...."
That was an epic fail on your part. Weak. Very weak. You have to do better than that.
Your problem is that it's not a legal person when it's inside the woman's body.
Which is why you people keep trying to pass those unconstitutional and stupid personhood bills.
The laws aren't on your side in this.
The 14th amendment doesn't apply to a zygote or blastocyst or an embryo or a fetus because our LAWS rightly don't recognize that it's a person.
If it was, it would have a birth certificate, a social security number. It would breathe air through it's nose, eat food through it's mouth, walk around, make sound, and all the other things actual people do and a clump of cells in a uterus can't do.
It doesn't even have a brain, a heart, central nervous system, no arms or legs. No face or anything that resembles a human being.
You can argue with unsubstantiated facts all you want but you will never be correct with the law. And guess what?
What you think or want doesn't matter to our legal system.
What does matter is the law and it's not on your side because you choose to lie about what is or isn't a living person.
