At the prodding of savvy media watchers, the Internet is bursting with questions as to why the mainstream media hasnt done more or anything, really to cover the Philadelphia trial of abortion provider and unlicensed doctor Kermit Gosnell.

And no, they havent coverd BenGhazi much, they were concerned with Jodi (WHY did that story get sooooo much coverage?) and the one serious story the Cleveland rapists. but no abortion stories, no BenGhazi and we'll see about these other stories.

It was checked in the sense that officials were advised of the conditions, some actually saw them for themselves, and the medical community was well aware of the situation.
All of them, being good baby killers, opted to say and do absolutely nothing about it.

Everybody knew it. Have you read the grand jury report? It's unbelievable. They were horrified. They submitted a scathing condemnation of the entire industry, including the state's department of health (where heads did in fact roll...quietly, unreported by the baby killing, criminal shielding media)...and the staff at nearby hospitals, who treated his victims for YEARS but never reported. Which puts the lie to the left's insistence that we have *good* numbers on abortion deaths/injuries (but then, we already knew that). The few reports that did make it through were not acted upon. He would still be doing his thing, if the feds hadn't conducted a DRUG RAID. THOSE guys were so horrified and sickened that there was no way they (the abortion community, the state health department, the medical community) could continue to cover for the butcher, without getting prosecuted as well. There may yet be prosecutions of some of those who knew, and did nothing. There definitely should be.

I'm glad the guy is going to be held accountable. I oppose abortion.
But my opposition to abortion puts me in the minority NOT because of the media, but because those whose share my views have done such a poor job of winning people to our side.
