"The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) estimated Palestinians at mid year 2009 as 10.7 million persons as follows: 3.9 million in the Palestinian Territory (36.6%), 1.2 million (11.5%) in Israel; 5.0 million in Arab countries (46.2%), 0.6 million in foreign countries (5.7%).[6]Are there any?Where do you plan on "resettling" the indigenous Arabs of Palestine?

"According to an article in Guardian (2008) using PCBS census figures, the Palestinian territories have one of the fastest growing populations in the world, with numbers surging 30% in the past decade (2008). There was 3.76 million Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, up from 2.89 million 10 years earlier.[7]
"According to the U.S. Census population growth mid-1990-2008 in Gaza and West Bank was 106% from 1.9 million (1990) to 3.9 million persons.[8]"

The palisturdian statistics bureau is just inflating birth data by 25% to 40%, of course. No, --- This is wrong. First, the US should not get involved, under any circumstances; or for any reason.

If, for any reason, UN Peacekeepers are needed - to be deployed, they should be either Russian [Special Forces (Spetsnaz)] or Chinese (People's Liberation Army Special Operations Forces); definitely not American. Neither the Chinese or the Russians will take any disrespect or place themselves in a position in which the Palestinians can manipulate them. They have the ability to quietly and firmly send a message to the Palestinian Leadership in ways that the Palestinians could only appreciate.
Most Respectfully,

"Yet the offer points to what is likely the unspoken reality, that both sides have given up on the latest round of talks and are now just making offers 'meant to be rejected' so they can blame the other side for the failure. Still if both sides keep trying to trump the other with elaborate offers they might just stumble into agreement somewhere down the road."et al,
I'm not sure that we all understand what is going on here. This is very strange.
(COMMENT)Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas presented his terms for the acceptance of a U.S.-backed framework agreement with Israel to the Arab League over the weekend in Cairo, Maan News Agency reported on Monday. Among Abbas conditions, there is to be no recognition of Israel as a Jewish State.

The "Jewish" State, as recognized by the UN in General Resolution 181(II), can do what it wants. It is part of their "right to self-determination." But I find it odd that the Arab-Palestinian doesn't use this blackmail option for something more substantial.
The Palestinian can demand that Israel call itself the Purple State, but that would not change the historical fact to what the world originally recognized it as.
What Purpose does this serve?
I think this establishes whether or not the Palestinians came in good faith to the Peace Talks.

You mean Obama has done a great job with the economy! Obamacare, and international policy? The neo-conservatives, not Obama, have "lost all credibility." Their "promises and guarantees are worthless both domestically and internationally" since the debacles of Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think he's been shameful and a disaster in every respect. By the time he's done, Obama is going to make Bush look like an angel, and that's hard to do.
Yes, certainly there has never been any good intention on the Palestinian side. It's always been this dream of destroying the Jewish state and replacing it with an Arab Islamic Khalifate of Palestine. Keep wanking yourself off to that."Yet the offer points to what is likely the unspoken reality, that both sides have given up on the latest round of talks and are now just making offers 'meant to be rejected' so they can blame the other side for the failure. The peace process has always been fake. There was never any intention of making peace.

Obama is owned by the same people who own Bush. How could he be any different?

Rocco...it seems like the US is already deeply involved in the quagmire and bears far more responsibility for its current state than either Russia or China. There's also an issue raised by Jonathon Cook lately referring to 2007's Annapolis meetings:georgephillip, et al,
