I just signed up for like 3 years of AARP, and I aint happy with their backing of this reform crap. I am not beyond ripping up their card either. I wonder if they are listening?

President Obama misspoke and did not intend to mislead the public when he said AARP had endorsed his health care legislation pending in Congress, the White House said Wednesday.

Have you seen the AARP ads? With the waaaambulances and the "myth" breakers? They are backing the plan. Lying through their teeth they are.

Both my wife and I cancelled our AARP membership. I didn't like the fact that AARP donated $9,000.00 to Obama's election coffers. I don't think that's a wise use of my dues. On top of it, I didn't like the tv ads concerning health care and their backing of it. Too liberal of an organization for me.

Stop it? It's not going to stop. Obama will lose the election in 2012 and AARP will go the way of the dinosaur.

Being opposed to health care insurance reform suggests support for the status quo. Support for the current system is incomprehensible, unless the supporter profits from the current system, or is opposed to reform because thay have been scared by the propaganda put forth by those who profit.

Yep. Thanks to the right wing noise machine. When are Democrats going to start being as good at lying as they are?

I don't believe that. Is it possible? Yeah but Bush had a 50% or less approval rating and still got the majority and the electoral college votes. Obama is doing alot of work. People like you who won the 2000 and 2004 election based on scare tactics is destroying America.

I mean if he doesn't get re-elected, thats just what happens. But its sad. Some democrats screamed Bush cheated in 2000 and Republicans now go to townhall meetings scream Obama is Hilter. Honestly the Bush Cheating Scandal is more believable than people screaming "Socialism is coming" because Obama wants to create a public option to keep costs down and health insurance companies in check.
