Paul Gilbert is one of the few guitarists who has always been really good, but still keeps finding ways to get better and take his music to a higher level. Here's an up-close and personal visit with one of the greatest musicians around but also one of the most humble, down-to-earth, 'guys next door' you could ever meet.

He makes it look easy....
His hands are so big he can stretch the whole octave from the 12th to 24th frets easily.
[After graduating from the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) in Los Angeles,Paul joined the faculty as a guitar teacher. While teaching, he formed the band Racer X and Grammy-nominated group Mr. Big.]

Flashback - 30 + years ago.....

10 years ago--Phone-cam quality, but still cool seeing Paul singing Jon Anderson & at the same time nailing the Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman's parts...
crazy awesome.

Does he have to super glue his dentures in or did he stop
trying to play with his teeth ?
