Appraisal value is usually determined by comps. You find other properties that are similar to the property being appraised and use the selling price of those to determine what the value would be. I'd like to see what comps the Prosecution used to arrive at a value of 18 million dollars for Mar A Lago. The other two methods to appraise would be Replacement Cost and Highest and Best Use. None of those methods are going to give you a value any way near that which Judge Engeron accepted as fact. To be blunt?
