Actually no friend of the US. The CCP is no friend of any kind of democracy. Both parties have been guilty of caving into the CCP and domestic business interests who could care less about the US.

War Is Good Business. Invest Your Workers' Sons.

Those who profited from the Cold War and suffered nothing from it have made sure it never stopped. Everything China does to avoid anarchy and raise its economic level is presented by these people as hostile to our interests. Instead, we should profit from China's economic advancement and quit being busybody foreign-policy Karens.

Quit defending the Asian parasites in China's legitimate Sphere of Influence. What if the Chinese had military bases all over the Caribbean? Why do you expect them to feel any different about their situation if they did it in our Sphere of Influence?

Our outsourcing traitors bribed our government to ignore China's unfair trade practices.

It's not like the US is a "friend to any kind of democracy" either. The US isn't friends with European countries because they're "democratic". The US barely has democracy and has supported a wide number of dictators in the past, because they happened to align with US interests at that particular time.

The US helped take down democratically elected Hugo Chavez in 2002 in a coup, ironically the US people who helped were a body supposedly promoting democracy.

We have made some mistakes along the way no doubt. But the CCP is at issue in this thread. And they are no friend.
