Zone1 A Suggestion About the Ignore Feature

Also ignore reactions?

Could we make it possible that when someone is on IGNORE (a very helpful feature of this forum) to also have the option to ignore any reactions they make on your threads?

When utilizing the IGNORE feature, can you add an option that says "Also ignore reactions?"

I think it would make the IGNORE feature even better if we can do this.

Snowflake.

What a whiney little ignore ramus.

They really do have grossly inflated opinions of themselves, don't they?
I have 42 members (or maybe they are past members by now) on ignore. From what little I can remember of them all but one (a spammer) either had nothing additive to say on any subject, were all about the name calling, were total contrarians, or just were so damn fuckin' stupid that they offended my sensibilities.

When I've seen enough of their communist bs I put them on ignore.

Never used iggy, but many have put me on it, especially the Sewer Rats.

My favorite is when they admit defeat by telling me I am now on iggy like I am supposed to hang my head in shame, or some shit.
I've begged them to put me on ignore. And maybe they do. But they sure do vote down or disparage my posts pretty much predictably so they're seeing them somehow. They never offer a coherent argument for why I am wrong of course. It's a pity how little respect the opinion of such people deserve. :)

These people do not analyze, they do not reason and they do not even remember what they thought 5 or 10 years ago.

All they know is how to confirm to groupthink.

Group think is certainly one of their biggest identifying factors. In fact it is their strength. By not allowing any different opinions on much of anything, they get it wrong much more often than they get it right, but they have mastered pulling together in harness. That gives them real power.

That we Patriots/Republicans/conservatives/MAGAs/right wingers don't engage in group think is both our strength and weakness. It is our strength in that willingness to look at all sides of problems results in much better outcomes/choices/policy. It is our weakness that we don't just disagree on things but attack each other for thinking or seeing things differently. I honestly believe that has cost us many elections on the local, state, and national levels.

I've turned off reactions.

I usually have 40-50 mentions/replies whenever I log on (I don't log on as often as I used to mind you). If I still had reactions turned of, I'd have over 100.

Right wing losers have decided that is the best way to spend their time...giving reactions.

Can you imagine having that much time on your hands and choosing to spend it by doing that?
HAHAAHA sez the all-time snarky "funny" rater. :abgg2q.jpg:

Spot on.

You probably already know this but in the symbolic imagery of the fasces chosen to represent the fascist movement, the bundle of sticks bound together represented a group united in absolute purpose with no derivation of thought, and the blade around which they were bound represented the political power such unity wields.

Yep. And I really appreciate you knowing that. So many don't and don't apply the analogy to the strong group think demanded by leftists now.

The same folks who thought McCain was going to be a great president and who thought Romney was the greatest thing since sliced bread now can't admit they voted for either man. The same unfortunate losers can't admit they supported most of Trump's cabinet picks now that virtually everyone of them has aligned against his becoming President again.

The current political right is a living example of group think.

/——/ Oh horseshyt. I voted for McCain and Romney because they were 20 times better than the socialists assholes your side put up. Now name the Republicans that won’t admit who they voted for. You won’t because you just made that up.

Wouldn't it be cool to have the option of turning off reactions to those on your ignore list? Not everyone you have on ignore do you want to stop seeing their reactions, I'm talking about those who post a reaction to every thread or post you make.

95% of my ignore list I wouldn't even choose to ignore their reactions, but there is one in every group.

I think it's a limitation on all/most forums
Although you can block a numb skull (I only have one spastic on ignore), reactions and bits still do appear. But just as long as 99.9% of his bullshit is hidden, reactions are a minor issue.

I voted for McCain for my Senator at least Twice; GHWB for President in 1988. So you don't know what you're talking about.

So lets talk about McCain and Romney. How do you feel about them today?

Just ignore all reactions. Does it really matter?

Everyone else sees those reactions so it still stings even while you go "la,la,la I can't hear you."

Half the people who use iggy still peek anyways...:50:
Irrefutable FACT.
