A Short-Lived Return

but a return no less... I'm back for a few days, then back out to sea for a few days, then back until Feb. 9th, when we pull out for our spring deployment (See ya in April when that happens).

We were supposed to deploy to relieve the Abraham Lincoln battle group and take over its tsunami relief efforts...however, thanks to the Indonesian gov't expressing in many ways its greater interest in slaughtering its people rather than helping them... we won't be doing that, and US military relief operations are due to end in that area very soon.... With Sri Lanka and Thailand covered, we're back to patrolling our part of the world from the communist N. Koreans and the fascist/communist Chinese.

I missed you all a whole lot! Looking forward to a few days on the board...
