A Short History of Rock N’ Roll as musician Alex Chadwick plays 100 famous guitar riffs in one take. And fan of rock music is sure to enjoy watching this music video as Alex plays a 1958 Fender Stratocaster. Watching this brings back many fond memories of growing up listening to classic rock songs.

That's pretty cool, and I love his axe!

He is exceptionally talented.

There's another video out there somewhere...a guy playing the hell out of a guitar that he made out of a shovel. I'll see if I can find it.

That didn't take long. This guy is also quite talented.

....and then there's always an old oil can around somewhere.

Seasick Steve and his hub cap and broomstick guitar!

I bet he could play the shit out of this one...

Eddie Van Halen is one of my favorite distortionists....

Yeah, but for clarity Alex is hard to beat!

This guy is no slouch either.

...and on a lighter note (and a much lighter artist)....

And then there's Mike Oldfield, take a look at the 5 minute mark, and again at the 10:25 ish mark, for a little guitar playing. He was 17 years old at the time....

Peter Green, the founder of Fleetwood Mac, was another legend who succumbed to drugs long before his time....

This is the full piece including the classical guitar he does for part 2 which is simply beautiful...

Andres Segovia, the best classical guitarist of all time.
