A serious topic to discuss...When. if ever. Is it time to put Rover and/or Kitty down?

Having gone both ways on this and having loved that pet, in the old cliche HE IS PART OF MY FAMILY and I love him dearly, is it better to let him die as you would your son or daughter, as needed naturally, or, put them out of their supposed misery, or do you even care, it is just another animal....A moral, and ethical question for sure!

If the vet says our pet is in pain and won't improve, it's time to go.

It is a quality of life issue, imho. When the pain outweighs the joy, help them.

Pets offer unconditional love to us. In return, we help them when their life has become unbearable.

When they're no longer happy and veterinary care can't help, it's probably time to let them go.
