They're like Beta fish, put them in the same tank and they can't resist fighting each other.

It may be a soft one or a hard one, but with the delusional Liberals in charge it is coming. Right now as the signs increase and the warnings are out there, what are the liberals doing? They are calling those upset and opposed to more liberal socialism, astro turf and liars, they are calling them fakes and crazies.
When the breaking point comes, the left will remain just as delusional as it is now and in denial. It won't be their fault it will be the vast secret Right wing conspiracy. The simple fact is only about 30 percent are Republicans and only about 30 percent are Democrats, the majority is that 40 percent that decide each election who to vote for. And THEY are the ones getting upset, they are the ones that find the plans and policies of this Administration are wrong. THEY are questioning Obama and the Congress, only to be ignored and labeled as astro turf and other stupid names.
All one need do is open their eyes and pay attention. But that will not happen. The Liberals live in a dream world, they are to delusional to see the writing on the wall right in front of them.
The left better hope it's a 'soft' one...

Why would anyone bother to risk organising a revolution that could fail when they have the option of voting in elections?
There will be no revolution.
It happened last November when real Americans took back real Americans.
It is the stoopidcons looking out of the fish tank thinking that tank is the real world.
KK, please stop.
There is no revolution coming.
RGS is talking out his ass.
I wasn't claiming there was, only that if there was, people who spout off about it coming wouldn't be the ones you'd worry about anyway.
Its already here Article, its been a soft quiet one slowly gaining steam for several years now. If the 111th congress keeps up their crap, and the president keeps shoveling it on top of us, those quiet people who surround us soft revolters will be joining in with us too.
You saw some of us come out in force to vote in Obama in 2008, those same people are now seeing obama is not delivering on his campaign rhetoric/promises and are turning against him.
We will not be silenced by the shenanigans and soon our disgust will show in voting results.

What are they going to do? Vote in republicans?

Look up the word revolution, it's not the same as "armed rebellion" ... a revolution can happen at the polls.

What are they going to do? Vote in republicans?
There are other options, Democrat and Republican are not the only two candidates that are available.

You know what's going to happen? The republicans are going to pick up a number of seats next year. Almost immediately after that the 2012 presidential campaign will kick off. If the American people think they are better off than they were 4 years ago Obama get reelected. If not, whoever the GOP puts up will win. I'd be shocked if 5 seats are won by a third party combined in both elections.
The only person I can think of capable of funding an independent national campaign with a chance to win is Bloomberg.

That's where organization comes into play, if enough of us Independent voters and those who are sick of the bipartisan crap can just agree on one candidate, it would start real change. Admittedly the politicians in power will try to squash it, but if we have the resolve to just pick one candidate who is not of the two major dictator parties and stick with it, no changing our minds, then a third party will rise up to their ranks or (the preferred result) all the parties would be pushed to an equal playing field.
If the government is corrupt enough to ignore the votes, then we will see it if enough people are honest and strong enough to stick with the idea. In which case there would likely be an armed rebellion, which would be nice to avoid. Hopefully our government hasn't gotten that corrupt yet. In which case the voters will see that there is more than two choices now, and the two dictator parties will lose a lot of their voters as people become more informed.
It's possible, and with each president lately it's becoming more likely. It has become a matter of how much can each voter take of the same shit before they finally decide to stop supporting it.

Kitten, can you please elaborate on the underlined part in your comments, and tell me how you know this? Thanks!

The word "likely" is key there. It means I am guestimating based on historical events, not that I know for certain.

Historical Events from the American Revolution? I see.

Not just the American Revolution, there are many others around the world to look at, some failed, some successful, some that barely get started then everyone just gives up and goes back to work. Try taking the statement as it is.

The statement that if a third party isn't elected the people of the USA may or may not have a revolution? I think you were quite clear on that!
And as I said before, I'm all for a third party, but if it's not successful I'm not going to revolt against my country. But that's just the way I roll.
