Liberals keep insisting that Obama never lowered the standards for air-traffic controllers.

But the proof keeps coming out more and more and more.

I don’t expect the liberals to admit that they were wrong.

But I do like to keep documenting this, and showing it to as many people as possible.

The Telegraph just reported:

https://archive.ph/5iuqQ

An aspiring air traffic controller who claimed he was denied a job because of diversity targets said the aviation agency’s obsession with inclusion made an accident likely to happen.

Andrew Brigida, 35, scored 100 per cent in his training exam but alleged that he was denied a position in an air traffic control tower because the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recruitment process favoured diverse candidates. He is part of a class action lawsuit filed against the federal agency.

Speaking after the Washington air disaster, in which 67 people were killed, Mr Brigida claimed that years of diversity hiring meant it was only a matter of time before an accident happened.

“You want to hire the best and the brightest for this kind of job because it is a very stressful job and it can take a toll on you, age you prematurely,” he told The Telegraph. “You want to make sure that the people that are doing it are the best.”

Mr Brigida graduated from Arizona State University’s collegiate training initiative in 2013 – a partnership programme with the FAA that was previously used to train and select the most qualified applicants.

After scoring top marks in his air traffic control selection and training examination, he was placed on a preferred candidate list until the FAA changed the rules.

Under the Obama administration, the regulator replaced a skills-based test with a biographical questionnaire to attract more diverse applicants.

When Mr Brigida tried again to become an air traffic controller under the new tests, he said he failed the biographical questionnaire because he “didn’t fit the preferred ethnic profile”.
Same thing with my husband in this bright blue woke state. When we first moved back to New Mexico, he was a highly skilled all perils insurance adjuster and also had passed exams to be insurance agent in two states. He took the exam to be on the New Mexico Insurance Commission, a government job, and aced it. Scored the highest score ever recorded for that test.

He was not hired because he was a registered Republican and an 'Anglo' instead of Hispanic or so an insider in government informed him. Another person taking the same test on the same day was hired.

Yep, he is saying that he should get the job because he is white. Because the story is a lie.

It's not a lie.

After he graduated, his degree was retroactively canceled because he was white.

Now he's part of a 1,000 person class action lawsuit.

You mean back in 2013?

Then how come we had no accidents before Trump got there and started taking a chainsaw to the government? In fact, the last major plane crash was in 2009, and that was pilot error.

That's a very good question. I don't know the answer.

But I still think it's wrong to retroactively cancel a person's college degree after they graduated.

And nowhere in this does it say those who were hired, weren't up to the job.

In fact it seems that this wasn't caused by having someone who wasn't up to the standard, but just there weren't enough people. Now, clearly if this guy claiming he got 100% on his exam and didn't get the job, there are enough people applying, but not enough doing the job. You think that's a DEI issue? It's not.

The DC control tower was understaffed when the crash happened.

1,000 people who got degrees in air traffic control had their degrees retroactively canceled after they graduated, because they were white males.

This has everything to do with DEI.

Trump expanded — not withdrew — a hiring initiative aimed at people with disabilities

In 2010, Obama’s administration issued an executive order directing federal agencies to hire more people with disabilities, noting that although 54 million people in the U.S. have disabilities, they were underrepresented in the federal workforce. The FAA incorporated the directive into its hiring practices.

That didn’t stop when Trump took office in 2017. Archives of the FAA’s website show the agency continually highlighted its diversity hiring initiatives, including its aims to hire people with disabilities, from 2013 up until Trump reclaimed office in 2025, including throughout Trump’s first term, 2017 to 2021. The page was taken down after Trump was inaugurated Jan. 20.

Clearly the best approach to take with anything Baby Donald says is assume it's a lie until proven otherwise.

No.

I'm saying that being white is not a legitimate reason to retroactively cancel someone's college degree.

He went to college.

He took the classes.

He did his homework.

He studied.

He passed all his classes.

He graduated.

But now, they're saying that because he's a white male, his degree no longer matters.

Besides air traffic controller, is there any other job where you think a person's college degree should be retroactively canceled after they graduate?

Or accidents just happened.

As near as I can tell, there are three contributing factors.

1) The Helicopter was 200 feet too high and 1/2 a mile off course.
2) The ATC Tower was understaffed because an employee went home sick.
3) The plane was diverted to a different runway because the primary one was full.

All of these sound like fairly common occurrences regardless of "competence". People are human, they make mistakes.

The tower was understaffed because 1,000 people who got college degrees in air traffic control had their degrees retroactively canceled after they graduated because they were white males.

But both pilots were white.

The pilot who was flying a very complex military helicopter at a busy commercial airport at night only had 500 hours of flight instruction.

I'm no aviation expert, but I don't think that's how they usually staff those kinds of flights.

The Army helicopter — which was operating out of Fort Belvoir, Va., with what officials described as an experienced crew, had been approved to fly a specific route that would have let it avoid the American Airlines plane. But it did not follow the intended route, according to four people who were briefed on the matter but not authorized to speak publicly. The route it took was a half-mile away and higher in attitude, they said.

trumples will continue to follow Dotard's lead by questioning the quality of the air traffic controllers or the pilots. The early evidence points to the helicopter not complying with instructions to follow a specific route requiring it to fly at a lower altitude.

It was the pilot, not the helicopter, that ignored those instructions.

Why was a pilot with only 500 hours of flying experience flying a complex military helicopter at a busy commercial airport at night?

neither does white privilege.

A guy who scored 100% on the college air-traffic controller degree program had his degree retroactively canceled after he graduated because he was a white male.

Only someone on the far, far left would think that that was a good idea.

I'm guessing that more than 90% of the population thinks this guy should have been hired as an air-traffic controller.

That was very evil of them to do that horrible thing to your husband. I am so, so sorry that they did that.
