A former top Army General commanding Europe slams Trump

Hertling was a great commander. He has his right to free speech in retirement and is safe from retaliation by Trump.

He's a ******* traitor, a W buttlicker.

A liar about 911, a liar about why we should invade Iraq.

All this left wing lying shithead cares about is manipulating America to fight Israel's wars.

Old saying. Salute the rank and not the person.

They can shove their TDS where the Sun doesnt shine.

Trying to end 3 years of killing is NOT A BAD THING IDIOT.

Trying ti start WW3 IS.

We want the war over. The Anchorage meeting will prolong it, and very probably put western European 'peace keepers' on Ukraine soil.

A Prog and his propaganda. Never ending. People like that always with us using any injustices as a prelude to spew they are helping those that are the downtrodden. And then end up just being power seekers who will keep the peasants down while they live well.

Days before the summit, U.S. Army Lieutenant General and former Commanding General of the U.S. Army Europe and the Seventh Army Mark Hertling wrote: “Watching the US prep for a critically important meeting with Putin in Alaska reminds me of students who realize they had an assignment a day before it is due. Hoping I'm wrong, but concerned about the diplomatic approach & the potential outcome." He was speaking @NicolleDWallaceRetired and reported at MSN.

He wrote on social media on Friday: “This afternoon, I told @NicolleDWallace that I had a sense of ‘dread’ about what might happen in the Alaskan ‘summit.’ After watching the press conference, that dread has come to life.”

He added, “This whole thing is despicable.”In 2018, Hertling co-wrote the Politico op-ed ‘Putin’s Attack on the U.S. Is Our Pearl Harbor,’ which urged the U.S. to respond accordingly to Russian interference in the 2016 United States election.]

Hertling is not the only highly decorated veteran who has voiced opposition to Trump’s warm welcome of Putin on U.S. soil. One is retired Marine Lt. Col. fighter pilot Amy McGrath also chastised the Trump administration. McGrath wrote: "I'm sorry but it's hard to get over the picture of the airmen on their knees, in front of the Russian jet, rolling out the red carpet for a mass murderer. Just never thought I'd see that."

MAGA pundit heavies like Charlie Kirk and Fox News Laura Ingraham, neither with military credentials," opined that any who "who are critical of the meeting are 'biased.” Kirk wrote: “Anything the media says about the Alaska summit must be immediately discredited because they are mad Trump met with Putin at all.” And Ingraham lashing out at the negative feedback on X: “Anyone saying that the Trump-Putin meeting was a failure is ignorant, biased or both.”

That is what many will say on USMB who have no military background even as other ranks. Putin wants a Peace Accord, not a cease fire agreement. Trump, once braying threats of sanctions or worse if no ceasefire happened, says that is "no longer the immediate goal."

Whether ceasefire or Peace Accord or nothing, I predict we will see British, French, and German "peace keepers" in Ukraine, perhaps before the end of the year.

That's because Europe has always wanted the US to do all the work and spend all the money so they don't have to. Now they've got their panties all in a wad because they have to do these things in their very own neighborhood.

So he's a Democrat bullshiting *****, like you.

Europe is its own worst enemy. Its history with each other is barbaric. I can understand the EU start up and a military agreement with the U.S. after WW 2. There is a power structure involved in all of that we do not pay attention to. And they added more NATO nations that shortened the fuse for potential war.

Yea, but what does RACHEL MADDOW THINK?

She told us if you get the shot, you will not get nor spread COVID.

This is who the left considers their sources and leaders.

He's right, those Russian memes on Facebook totally defeated Hillary's
$1 billion worth of campaign ads. It was awful!

Thank goodness Facebook wasn't around in the 1980s.

If it was, Teddy Kennedy's letter to Russia, asking them for help to beat Reagan
might have worked. Instead of the Berlin Wall coming down, it could have been NATO.

Just another useless warmonger. We need generals devoted to peace.

At least we now know why he's a "former" General.
Trump rolled out a red carpet for a murderous war criminal, responsible for the deaths of untold tens of thousands of innocent civilians. Putin is NOT a legitimate head of state. He's a usurper who, if he wasen't a murderer would have been thrown out of office more then ten years ago.

But that matters not to Trump who has the morals of a ten dollar street hooker. Ad a matter of fact, the hooker has more morals then he does.

Was Obama lying when he said Russia was not a threat?
Or was he just stupid?
