A Dispatcher Has Been Fired For Hanging Up On A Person Who Called About A Shooting.

Go here for the news. This makes me wonder about what happened to another dispatcher who made the news a few years ago for telling a girl to literally shut up. She couldn't understand what was being said because of how hysterical the girl was and so the dispatcher literally told the girl to shut up.

P.S. The girl who was told to shut up had just witnessed her dad being hit by a car I remember was her reason for dialing 911.

I just now saw a write up here concerning another dispatcher who was not charged in any way for the way that they handled themselves when talking to those who dial 911. All of this only leads me to this one question: Are there any dispatchers out there who are actually good at their job?
