Nobody cares what Jimmy Carter thinks, not even his own party.

I remember seeing him give a speech before the Democratic National Convention in 1984, and everyone on the floor was ignoring him and talking to each other as if he wasn't there.

It was the biggest sign of disrespect I've ever seen given to an ex-President.
