Not here. Our university now allows fans to drink alcohol during football games. Yesterday 20 went to jail and dozens more were ejected for drunkenness and other booze related behaviors.

At OU we were allowed to drink outside the stadium but not in the stadium.

I had to stop when we did some remodeling that took the chimney out of service.

Maybe it's time to look up a how-to and bring the old paper logs back. I've got a ton of shopping circulars.

I actually burn some paper in the fireplace along with the wood. Keeps a little out of the landfill, gives back a little heat as well.

You have to buy it from the university. You can't bring your own in, but the students sneak it in anyway. Selling beer is another income stream for the U.

I can't relate as I'm still working at 85. A modicum of wealth makes life much easier. You don't worry and others don't worry about you. However, I worry about my kids and want to leave them something more than my corpse.

I had my 35 years in at the local steel mill when I was 54 years old and took a seasonal horticulture job at the zoo for another 17 years. My fellow steelworker retirees thought that I had lost my mind, but I have no regrets at all. Going from heavy industry to doing something that I enjoyed was wonderful. My 2 kids are in their early 40s and doing fine and when we`re gone they`ll get everything we own.

I enjoy working and 'squirreling it away', spending not so much. I live a pretty spartan lifestyle. The kids will get a bundle when I croak.
