How things are is this.

There is an exceedingly small minority (less than 1%) of the “white population” who is anywhere near racist enough to burn a cross in a park. None of those people are in significant positions of power. While racism certainly exists and likely always will the racism you wish existed died a long time ago.

How things are is this.

An Ipsos poll after Charlottesville found that 31 percent of the white participants in that poll held beliefs that matched white supremacists. In a more recent poll the question was asked if the browning of America is making America stronger or weaker, and whites were the only group in that poll who had a majority saying it made America weaker.

I don't wish racism, an your belief tht I do is evidence of th modern style of white racism that exists today. Jim Crow cism or overt racism, which is th racism you want to see as the only racism cannot exist by law. A Jim Crow-style racist is the current President of the United States, meaning he is overtly racist.

So stop being white and racist, thinking you can tell those of us who face it that there is a small number of racists. If that were the case, Trump would not be president, MAGA would not be the controlling philosophy of the party, the Tea Party would never have happened, 1/2 the Republican state legislators, city council members, police chiefs, and mayors would not be in office.

If it is true, wouldn't you agree it is long overdue. The right needs to learn the art of street insurrections. And we can learn from the Northern Ireland responses to the stupid policy of immigration they have as assimilation has not occurred. The terrorism from Catholics/Protestants a few decades ago is efficient. They did not firebomb from the outside of immigrant homes; they went inside and lit the homes on fire. In the civil discourse game, the right needs to start learning by taking perhaps slow steps as it is playing catchup.
