I must give credit where it is due.

While my opinion of most sports casters' intellect is that it is akin to that of garden tools, every once in a while, one hits it out of the park.

1. Brett Gardner hits a walk-off home run

2. The boy-millionaires celebrate as is their wont.

3. During the celebration, a batting helmet hits Aaron Judge- MLB HomeRun Leader- in the mouth....knocking out a tooth

4. Soooo......one of the announcers dubs Judge.....

....wait for it.....

BABE TOOTH!!!

Oh, my!

What a coincidence!

...I was just reading about you....

" the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias, wherein persons of low ability suffer from illusory superiority when they mistakenly assess their cognitive ability as greater than it is. The cognitive bias of illusory superiority derives from the metacognitive inability of low-ability persons to recognize their own ineptitude." Dunning–Kruger effect - Wikipedia

Novocain you mean by that? Biting sarcasm? Giving me the brush off? Well that takes a lot of cheek. Obviously my post impacted. You should have braced yourself. :itsok:

Perhaps I should have emphasized that in the following reference to you.....
