As soon as I post this, I'm heading from my office to Home Depot, and plan on spending several hundred dollars there and other major retailers.

Consumers plan boycott of major retail companies on Feb. 28 for DEI rollbacks

Consumers are rallying to speak through their wallets − or lack of spending – as a way to protest the retreat by some companies from diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and President Donald Trump's actions to eliminate federal DEI programs since taking office. They are calling on consumers to boycott specific retailers and for one day later this month to refrain from spending any money at all.

Numerous social media accounts are sharing the message of a 24-hour consumer spending blackout planned for Feb. 28. Consumers are encouraged not to spend money in stores or online for the day, and if they have emergencies or essentials they need, they are encouraged to support a local small business.

.

Easy-peasy. I don't shop at any of those places anyway.

Nothing is being bought on February 28th.
But extra is being bought on Feb 26th and 27th just to be sure people don't run out. This reminds me of the "boycott" of Chik fil a that was so terribly effective. Normal people will go about their business, shopping for things they need while a handful of malcontents will do, well, no one's really sure.

It is for me and my wife. You must be maga, since you deflect so much.
That’s fine.

But I doubt very much that when I go to Walmart today I’ll notice the slightest difference between today and any other day

The same side calling for the boycott is the same side that screams and cries abandonment when these retailers pull out of urban areas after they’ve been looted and stolen from regularly.

The Corporate retailers are dammed no matter what. The retailers should continue to boycott high theft and high looting areas.

I DON’T understand what you are saying.

Are you saying that bigots on the left are boycotting the woke retailers because they are no longer going to be racist in their hiring and advertising policies? They’re mad because no longer will a less qualified black, gay, or Muslim be jumped over a better qualified white?!
