With the passing of their behemoth Health Care Legislation, the Democrats have admitted that their Legislation will include expanding the IRS both in numbers and power. Citizens will be fined for not buying Health Insurance and this will require a much bigger IRS collection force. I really don't think most Americans truly understand what the Democrats just did. This massive expansion in Government and especially the IRS,will most definitely result in the loss of much Freedom & Liberty. Unfortunately most Americans wont understand this until the Government starts harassing them to pay their fines. It really will be a very large Government intrusion in their lives.

How will the Government know who bought Health Insurance or not? This is another very disturbing aspect of this Bill. The Government will certainly have to track Citizens' lives more closely to guarantee they are insured properly. These kinds of things should bother Americans more. I think they will bother people more when they actually affect their individual personal lives. Right now the whole thing is just so abstract for most. When it touches them personally, they will then better understand what has happened. So,a bigger & more powerful Government & IRS? Gee thanks Democrats.

And 'THEY' said it couldn't happen, well George Orwell in his book 1984, DID.

Thanks DEMS, another tightening of the noose around the neck of freedom. :clap2:

I am more concerned with the government tracking what kind of substances I abuse. I mean, how outrageous is that?

Yes when Citizens start getting harassed by the Government to pay their Health Care fines, they will then truly understand what the Democrats have done. Not to mention all Citizens will now have to be heavily monitored by the Government to guarantee they are buying Health Insurance. That's going to be an incredibly large Government intrusion in Citizens' lives. Their behemoth Bill had no redeeming qualities in my opinion.

How will the Government know whether you bought Health Insurance or not? It's an interesting but possibly chilling question? Hmm?

Keep a list of all Socialist Security numbers (which were supposed to be used ONLY for tracking Socialist Security payments/benefits) and add a tag for current Health provider. Require insurance companies to send the data quarterly and anyone without a provider is flagged for investigation. Simple really.

And REALLY expensive. But hey it's the government they can just TAX us some more.

Yea Charles, pretty disturbing stuff. Just more Government intrusion in Citizens' personal lives. People will now have to be tracked and monitored more by the Government and especially the IRS.

This Democratic debacle is anything but Free. We just lost more of our Freedom & Liberty with the passing of this behemoth Legislation. It really is so sad.

In Massachusetts, the insurance company sends out a yearly statement of inclusion that must accompany your tax returns. That's probably going to be required for your federal tax return now.

Freedom died last night while good Americans slept in their beds, unable to defend themselves from the Jackals who call themselves Democrats.

This.. Is one of the reasons why I don't like this Bill..

I don't appreciate the Growth of the IRS, why? That's Government Expansion to the max right there..

My God, are you that naive? If they had access to your phone calls and emails under Bush, they certainly can trace your finances.

They'll use the IRS "Audit" model for tracking HC policies. Just like they can't audit everyone's Tax Returns, they won't be able to specifically track ALL 300 Million (current) Americans and their health coverage. They will randomly audit people for coverage---the burden of proof will be ON US to show we have coverage and we will be called in to prove it just like an IRS audit. If we can't prove coverage on X date, we will face fines, and likely one day, prison sentences for failing to obtain coverage. We're just steps away as it is.

*sigh*

What a depressing thought, isn't it?

Such as....? Be specific. Thanks.

Its not a fine. Its a tax.

This is the most retarded question I've ever seen. How do they know if I made $100,000 and I'm not claiming it on my taxes? They don't. I COULD be lying. But if they catch me I'll pay the price. DUH

VaYank is most surely all Democrat, all the way. He almost became independent within 6 months of Obama mirroring and exceeding Bush, but that did not last.
