The following is Fiction - a bedtime story -

Nature's Law is written in the hearts of men because Nature's Law is what mankind became subject to after the fall and eviction from the Garden of Eden.

But what was also written in mankind's hearts was the knowledge of the fullness they once had in the Garden - this knowledge that was born from the lust the serpent implanted in mankind's thoughts - became the envy for what they were in the Garden. Never satisfied until they could become what they were in the Garden - greed and pride take over and man turns against "Natural Law" and begins to display wrath against fellow man - losing the very last of what they had in the Garden. Mankind now rebels against both God and Nature - becomes an element of the Destroyer - led by greed and ignorance.

Much of this was made possible by - "The gods of old" - some genuinely favored and helped mankind but many others led mankind to paths of least resistance - used greed, envy and lust to make themselves gods and mankind their subjects. False pride disguised as honor and greatness gave mankind the thirst to conquer - conquer one another - in order to obtain glory and honor.

Eventually, there was no natural law or God's grace left - the fallen angels, mankind and the creation became an abomination - the stronger would rape, kill and pillage the weaker - the fallen angels would also partake to the point that they declared themselves greater than God - the discord, chaos and cries of the innocent allowed the destroyer to hold the world in contempt and with this, the world was judged in favor of the destroyer - who went on to destroy the world - through deluges and other means.

But mankind's Advocate (The Holy Spirit) stayed true and instructed the innocent on how to avoid destruction. This happened more than once - the story of Noah encompasses it all. The story of Noah exemplifies God's covenant with mankind - that he would no longer allow all the world to be destroyed - marked by the rainbow that follows the storm.

The new world would be established and led by the gods that favored and helped mankind. This went on for many generations - and the usual greed, pride followed - the destroyer once again held the world in contempt and the world was judged in his favor - but God's covenant prohibited the destroyer from destroying the world again. The debt owed to the destroyer would be paid by a world which would abide by the destroyer's rules of governance - the enslavement of people.

But the Advocate always true, never wavering - empowered Moses to free the people from enslavement. This went against the judgement of the world - the trials and tribulations that followed are unparalleled. Moses would never see the land (the day of freedom) he sacrificed his life for and the Israelites would be subject to the scorn of the destroyer forever.

God sent Prophets who spoke by the power of the Holy Spirit. The teachings first dealt with the immediate, physical self preservation of the people - but would go on to teach that eventually, in order for mankind to break the chains of the destroyer, mankind would need to live a life that would counter the world in which the destroyer established.

Over and over again, the Spirit of the Destroyer overcame the people - they rebelled against God and persecuted, rejected and killed his Prophets.

God and the people grew steadily apart - no more prophets were sent because the people became a distant, blurred image in the site of God - for they followed the way of the Destroyer.

Eventually, the cries of the innocent women of the time shook God's Spirit - The Holy Spirit descended to a woman who was being ostricized by her community - by the grace of the Holy Spirit she was declared Virgin - clean in Spirit - in the eyes of God - and she conceived and gave birth to a boy and named him Jesus - a common name, for they were common people. For he would only be called Emmanuel (God is with us) once everything was accomplished.

The zeal within young Jesus drew immediate attention from those around him. Mary and Joseph could barely restrain the child - for everything he did, he did with authority - wrong or right in their eyes, he did without hesitation. (This is the Spirit of Truth - the only one that can overcome a world of false governance, hate and destruction).

Luke 2:

Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem for the Festival of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up to the festival, according to the custom. After the festival was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends. When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him.

After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

“Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

Jesus was 12 years old - to this day, the age of adulthood in Jewish tradition is 13. Although rejected by Judaism, This story of Jesus may have established the age in which parents are still responsible for their child in Judaism - for the Gospel of Luke out dates the Jewish ritual of Bar Mitzvah by 400 years.

The Holy Spirit - The Invisible God - works in mysterious ways - speaks through Prophets, Is Alive through all ages and most of all Is Present Among All People who accept its Presence - regardless of race, color, Creed or any other designation applied by the world of the destroyer.

John 15:

If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me, before it hated you.

If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own.
But you do not belong to the world, because I have chosen you out of the world, and therefore the world hates you.
