Who can blame them from not going back to their home countries. I doubt that you will even find Iranians will go back to Iran regardless if they were educated in the West or fled the Revolution.

DUBAI — A recent study showed that nearly 95 percent of Arab students who have gone abroad do not choose to go back to their home countries after graduating, a statistics that was the focus of a panel discussion at the World Government Summit (WGS) here.

According to Mohammed Gawdat, vice president of Business Innovation at Google(X), the Arab brain drain is the result of two major factors: lack of resources and instability in the region.

“It is not about money. It is about taking the right decisions to allow young people to succeed. Once the right decisions have been taken, we can provide the resources,” he said.
