The sheriffs should be on the lookout for when the governor, and other state officials, are passing through their county so the sheriff can hold a inspection on their vehicles, belongings, and escorts; then confiscate anything that doesn't meet state law.

Does non-compliance with state law constitute some prison time and a large fine for those not meeting state law?

Do leftie politicians even understand what constitutes a semi-automatic weapon? Most .22 rifles including Ruger's 10-22 commonly used for busting groundhogs and sport shooting is a semi-automatic rifle. Every 9mm and .45 handgun is a semi-automatic weapon.
