She was a phlebotomist for six month at PP. She drew blood for pregnancy test.
No reason for her to be involved in abortions at all. Did anyone question why she made these videos and what she got out of them? The more I hear on the videos, the less she seems to actually know anything.
If you witness a car wreck, your testimony is still admissible even if you weren't riding in the car. If she witnessed anything, she has an obligation to come forward
Not if she speaks of patience and procedures they have, nor about the tissue from those procedures
HIPA
Was the patient identified?
It is still information from her medical records. It does not matter if she was prescribed an aspirin, if it in her records it is covered under HIPA. Tissue removed is in her records, the signed donation is in her records. It is still patient private information.
She was not licensed to be in the procedure room or involved in any way with an abortion. She was not qualified to handled or witness what happened with the tissue. All she was qualified for was taking blood tests. If she disclosed anything about those tests she violated the HIPA law. Even is she says patient 'A' was type AB, is a violation because it is information in the medical records.
If she was working for stemexpress, she might know of them selling tissue to particular labs, but not about PP.
Basically she would have picked up a cooler and delivered it to stem express or the labs. She was not qualified to handle the tissue in any other capacity or even be a witness. I'm quite sure anyone working for stemexpress would have to signed a non-disclosure agreement as they deal with medical tissue.
Either way she would not have been a witness, nor able to speak with any authority about what happened during an abortion as PP.
