75% of ISIS fighters killed

Kill this terrorist and arm that terrorist.
GO OBAMA

That's has pretty much been a staple of our foreign policy in the Middle East for decades.
So, that's your excuse? That's pretty pathetic, even for you.

It's not an excuse, dipshit. It's a fact. We love to arm and finance idiots that are fighting our enemies and then they turn around betray us the second it becomes convenient. How about we stop arming assholes in the Middle East? Crazy notion I know.
Then admit that your "hero" Obama is engaged in this behavior. Stop defending him.

Clinton would have continued these policies, but Trump wants to put a stop to it. That's one of the reasons I voted for him.

ISIS was once a threat to take both Syria and Iraq. They are now on the ropes as their ability to get supplies and reinforcements is cut off and their funding sources are drying up

US says 75% of ISIS fighters killed - CNNPolitics.com

The US and regional forces are currently waging a battle for the Iraqi city of Mosul, where additional gains against ISIS are expected, though McGurk declined to provide a timeline for the conclusion of that offensive.
The air campaign, led by the US and begun in 2014, has conducted 17,000 strikes against ISIS targets, McGurk said. The vast majority were conduced by US planes; only 4,500 were carried out by other members of the coalition.
The most recent targets included three ISIS leaders the US says were responsible for planning attacks in Paris and Brussels last year. They were taken out in Raqqa, ISIS' self-described capital in Syria.

.

Obama has been claiming for years that ISIS has been on its death throes.

They're still murdering people in Europe, and they are still at war in Syria and Iraq, and they are still pumping out refugees for Europe.
Obama has warned us that it will take decades, if not generations, to eliminate radical jihad as a threat. He knows. Taking away their territory is another matter.

ISIS is not defeated, and neither is al Quada or the Taliban. Obama's eight years as President has gotten us no closer to our objectives then when he started. His "lead from behind" policy has caused chaos and war to break out all over the Muslim world, and now Trump will have his hands full trying to undo the damage.

Obama and the Never-Ending War

I seem to remember the leader of Al Qaida being killed ....something the right prefers to cover up
By the time they killed Osama bin Laden, he was a feeble old man who no longer had any real power in al Qaida. His killing was symbolic only, and was not of real strategic importance.

Also, why was he killed and not captured? It seems somewhat illegitimate to murder a man in cold blood when his capture could have been accomplished.

Also, why was the world never shown any proof that Osama bin Laden was dead? It seems we have to take Obama's word for it, but Obama is a proven liar, so why should we believe him?

Obama has been arming terrorists to fight against secular governments that were never a threat to the United States or its allies. He is a terrorist sponsor.

It will take generations to defeat radical jihad if we are going to continue at this rate, with his ineffective policies.

Doesn't it seem that if Daesh really had 220,000 troops, their logistics would be relatively big and hard to disguise or hide? Wouldn't someone, out of all the so-called enemies of Daesh, be able to trace and interdict this significantly?

ISIS just recaptured Palmyra
SHIT!
Did they have to choose one of the most significant historical sites in the world? Besides the fact that the pukes seem impossible to actually stop. It's whack-a-mole, perpetually.
For anyone who cares, I've thought Obama should be more aggressive since ISIS popped up. However, considering how impossible it is to do anything real against these guys (look at Afghanistan--we've still got 10,000 troops there, we fought an actual war there a decade ago, and the Taliban are about to topple the official government. Again).
If we aren't going to go in with HUGE BOOTS to wipe these bastards off the face of the earth in a really really serious way, we probably should quit dicking around over there, and just deal with them sneaking over here to bomb us when it happens.

There you again making shit up. Obama isn't my hero. Hell, I never once even voted for him. I've been railing against the foolishness of the two party system for a long time. Neither party actually cares about us. They only care for feathering their own nests and the nests of their cronies.

So now the Navy Seals that raided his compounded committed an act of cold blooded murder!? You're off your nut. Too funny.

They have had losses but 75%, hardly. They run out the back door and come back in the side door. They disperse and blend in and regroup as troops move on. They leave the country and spread across the world.

Oh, such loses they could not only survive but strength over the rest of the century.

Obama administration says???????? They through ISIS was JV team? ISIS that Syrian and Russian forces are NOT trying to eliminate, rather massacring the syrian population, most civilians?

The Authoritarianism of Regime Change

That shows that Obama believes only leaders count. It's a commonly held dogma, contradicted by centuries of collective savagery, that the Muslims are good people under bad leadership.

Well they have held territory roughly the size of Great Britain for years now.
