700 Marines Deployed To LA To Back Up 2000 Additional NGs

I see. So you are all in favor of it if the Governor is in line with your beliefs, but against it if the Governor is not in line with your beliefs.

In other words, it is entirely subjective based upon your beliefs. And not on the actual rule of law itself.

Glad to know that, your beliefs are more important to you than the law.
If the Governor and the President are acting in accordance with the constitution then I’m good with it. You seem to be the one giving away the free pass for an executive who is overstepping his bounds

EVERYTHING in the world of left cultists is entirely subjective, based on their beliefs.

I am not giving a free pass to anybody.

Like it or not, what is being done is completely Constitutional and Legal. And this is rather clear in 10 USC 252.

Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.

The above actually makes it damned clear, what is being done is entirely legal and in accordance with the Constitution.

That's why the lawsuit the Governor filed was dismissed yesterday, but there is a hearing scheduled for the request tomorrow. And most legal experts on both sides politically believe it will be dismissed.

And can you please knock it off with the coprolite projecting that you are doing?

Actually, that is something I see with the extremists on both sides of the political isle. Which is a major reason why I pretty much dismiss the extremists on both sides.

I am actually rather proud when several years ago a friend I served with described me as a "Militant Moderate". That is actually very accurate, and I do not stand firmly on either side of the political fence. And as such, when it comes to things like this I simply look at the facts and refuse to allow any personal beliefs I may have to get in the way.

And probably why I confuse so many on both sides. I laugh at the number of time one person will scream I am a "Flaming Commie Libtard", and then yet another will scream I am a "Fascist GOP lover". Both of which are completely wrong, but a typical response when one can not discuss facts and instead feels they will win if they attack the other person.

But one that the extremes on both sides share is a love of projecting. If I dare to stand against them in something, I absolutely must be the exact opposite of them, so they project all of their beliefs of the "other side" onto me. Almost always laughably wrong, and completely irrational. But I have never seen political extremists as being "rational".

Normally I support State's Rights, but unless we want a Balkanized version of the US we really need at least a minimum standard to function as a country. You can't have one state operating as a drug cartel and another under Sharia or Halakha law, although we do a little stretching with legalized gambling and prostitution. Usually the state knows what is best, but if the state is using what they consider loopholes in the Constitution to gain political advantage you have to really take a look at it. This has more to do with California's throwing their weight around economically and the corruption of the democratic and republican parties to gain congressional seats. When it negatively affects other states, it becomes a concern.
