Where in the Hill Country? The humidity and heat during the summer I was there from Fredericksburg to Marble Falls was as tough as anything in the NV southwest.

Fine dust gets blown up into the upper atmosphere and droplets condense around it.

Falling mud.

We've had it with snow as well, they called it "snirt".
