Americans "embarrassed by Trump" have been sucked into the caricature of Trump that the lying, deceiving Democrat Media has painted for The Party. Now that the Democrat Media has been exposed as the FRAUDS THEY ARE, perhaps those Americans "embarrassed by Trump" might want to rethink their position.

Democrats have a unique opportunity to do something right, for a change. If they don't find a moderate, consensus candidate, someone the silent majority of sane voters can get behind, Trump will win. The question is whether they care more about winning the "culture war" than they do saving the country.

Seriously, if Trump is such a threat, why won't Dems just nominate someone right in the middle? Someone dedicated to representing the interests of everyone, not just their party. Someone who will do something about the border. But still protect abortion rights. Someone who will dial back the woke nonsense, but fight vigorously for the equal rights of everyone. Someone who, while still a dedicated liberal, cares more about their country than scoring points for their party. Someone who understands why so many people are fed up with Democrats.

Im surprised it’s that low. The DNC didn’t run a primary so there’s that. DeSantis imploded, Haley is terrible and huge swaths of the people voting for Trump are just once again giving the biggest middle finger to the establishment they can find.

Well the Global Inflation was the caused by the increase of Oil in April 2020 from 15$ to $112 by Feb 2022.

What caused this? Well in April 2020 Trump got OPEC to cut Oil production by 17.5% (this is massive in Oil)... This massively constricted supply as Biden took power and the economy started to heat up...
Oil then had knock on effects on Transport, Energy,... which then pushed wages... This was a Global problem, started by Trump Deal... US actually handled better than nearly every other 1st world country..
The big winners? Oil Companies made record profits while people suffered...

Because they don't care. That's the short answer.

These are progressives, NOT traditional liberal Dems. They've been waiting for a hundred years to enact their teardown of America, and societal order, so that they can rebuild in THEIR vision. The problem is they know that America is rejecting their crazy future vision, so they are now trying, or dabbling in an authoritarian approach to enacting it...

Think about it, everything that is rejected, is only because 'racism, bigotry, or some other pejorative...And when they don't get their way, they lash out like children...

Nope. But the EC and the Constitution is working properly. The system prevents a party from focusing purely on the interests of the population centers. That means, even if you have more votes are your side, you can't just ignore the rural demographic. It requires candidates to address the needs of everyone, not just the majority. Sorry. We have a Senate to meet the needs of the "rural demographic".

If you look at a list of the Presidents who were picked by the EC, they were really the worst ones - Hayes, Bush, Trump.
