Reminds me of a 1970’s report showing DC public schools graduating functional illiterates. This was the same time John Thompson recruited DC public school graduates John Duren and Craig Shelton to his Georgetown basketball team. You know, Georgetown U, the school that is among the most prestigious in medicine and law.
