Gewürztraminer and Riesling whites in that order.
Pinot Noir and Merlot reds in that order, and Shiraz as other red.

Half a bottle of Gewürztraminer also works perfect in a dish with mushroom sauce, creme cheese, butter, mushrooms, green onions, thyme and oregano, baked in a deep dish poured over pulled chicken, and served on angel hair pasta topped with aged parmesan cheese.
