I have an old food processor that has the chopping blade cracking.
Unfortunately, Black and Decker don't make the replacement blades for their food processor anymore.

So, I got to thinking, how about a 3D printed one?

I was looking online for "custom 3D printed metal parts" and all I find is industrial companies for this.

Anybody know of a 3D printing business that can make like one or two parts out of metal..........
the replacement chopping blade for the food processor I have?

From what I hear, its really cheap, but I know they will probably charge a pretty penny for it.

Anybody know of any places or how I can find someone with a 3D metal printer?

I had a small but very important windshield wiper part lost at my mechanics shop and the guy next to his shop had a 3D printer... So he was happy to show it off and make me a new part....
I was amazed to watch it work...

Its a Black and Decker FP1600B.

Black and Decker no longer make this part, I've checked.
There are some used ones online for sale, but they are all about $20.00 or more.

If I'm going to pay that much for one plastic part, I'll just buy a new processor for $60.00.

I know I want an all metal part replacement, if one can be made. Hopefully it wont crack like the plastic ones.
