$34.8B, that seems like a lot.

Tell me how many products are made from oil.....and what is your replacement for them?
No one is suggesting oil can be replaced entirely as a input to the production of many products. We just can't continue to burn fossil fuels at nearly the rate we are now.

Data center power demand is enormously influential on electricity prices. One way to mitigate that is not canceling renewable power projects.
Then mandate data centers have renewable as part of the approval without subsidizing it.

Trump cancels billions in clean energy grants while increasing subsidies for oil and gas

On Oct. 2, the Trump Department of Energy announced it was cancelling over $7.5 billion in federal funding for 223 clean energy projects that the administration argues would be a waste of taxpayer dollars. The projects are mostly in states that voted for Democrat Kamala Harris in last year’s presidential election.

But President Trump’s own landmark legislation signed in July, the “Big Beautiful Bill,” grants an additional $4 billion a year in new taxpayer subsidies to the fossil fuel industry. According to a recent report from Oil Change International, including existing fossil fuel subsidies, the U.S. federal government will subsidize the production of oil, gas, and coal by at least $34.8 billion per year in coming years.

Meanwhile.........

Electricity prices are climbing more than twice as fast as inflation

More than anything perhaps yesterday's election results are a case of the public recognizing the regime's misplaced priorities. Like supporting legacy energy's production of products that are killing the environment. Sending out dozens of pictures on social media of a WH bathroom renovation while 42M Americans are concerned about food security. Pardoning a criminal involved in the crypto biz because he helped you make hundreds of millions of dollars.

Voters want their government to make their lives better. trump has other concerns. It shows.
Wow, $34.8B sounds like a lot? WTF does the $1.5T, that Dems want, sound like?

I've come to realize it's fruitless to discuss anything with someone so totally brainwashed as your post indicates you are. No means of energy production is perfect. But the use of oil/gas is unequivocally bad for the environment and must be reduced quickly if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic consequences which are unfolding before our eyes.

Collin Rees, United States Campaigns Manager at Oil Change International, said the Trump Administration is not really interested in free market capitalism and keeping the hand of government away from the energy industry, as it claims. Instead, the administration is trying to undermine clean energy to reward Trump’s fossil fuel donors, which spent over $200 million to elect Trump and Republicans in Congress last election.

No no. I've seen the open pit mines and mountain top removal for rare earth minerals. Isuggest you travel to Africa and South America to see how deadly it really is. People like you are so wrapped up in liberal propaganda that you cant even begin to comprehend real truth. It's sad.

BS. At least 4 sq mile of centers almost done out west. The are both hooked straight onto HV power lines. They got their own big transformer setup on site.

Hundreds of big diesel backup visible at every building. No solar, no wind. Just HV line drops like every other building or home area. You people chirp. But I've seen it on the ground.

Where does that show it's making energy more expensive?
It discusses the likelihood of Trump's economic policies to negatively impact energy costs - which we are seeing real time. Here is the rise in energy costs plotted with tariff increases.

Our electricity prices have risen 7.4% since last year. Gasoline prices have dropped 15% in the same time period. We spend more on gas in a year than we do electricity.

What now?
Gas prices have dropped a $0.08-0.09 since Trump took over, not 7%. LOL I like how you want to give credit to Trump for the price decreases in gasoline under Biden by using vs last year. Nice try. You'll need to get up way earlier in the morning to pull that shit on me.

Utility prices have gone up 11%.

Are you referring to the Ivanpah solar facility?

Many things influences the price of oil.

Oil prices edged lower on Tuesday as OPEC+’s decision to pause output hikes in the first quarter next year along with weak manufacturing data and a stronger dollar weighed on the market.

Brent crude futures fell 45 cents, or 0.69%, to close at $64.44 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude shed 49 cents, or 0.8%, to settle at $60.56 a barrel.

“The succession of poor manufacturing PMIs from Asia and then the U.S. ISM is a worry for oil demand. So is the ever present market upsetting tariff threat,” said John Evans, analyst at PVM Oil Associates.

In either case "taxpayer subsidies". Not Capitalism.
Such spending falls under ‘general welfare’.
Paying Guadalupe to run her baby factory and feed her litter of silver tooth parasites is not GENERAL WELFARE.
Can you see the distinction?

No. Massive "DATA centers". 0.5 mile by 0.5 mile. Massive buildings. Each one hooked to regular HV power. All with individual diesel backup power. Just like 1995. No solar, no windmills.

Not Capitalism wherever it falls.

You OK with APPL Amazon AMD Batteries in MI etc. Long string of subsidies? Its called investment. Can't live without energy. Here's hoping its for NATURAL GAS.

I wish it was all zero. But it never is.

Natural gas is being shipped out of the country at record rates.

Our taxes are being used to subsidize energy for other countries while the oligarchs pocket the difference.

But your OK building FoxCon. And APPL on Shanghi? Subsidies are off the charts to all "investment" opportunities. If not FED, it is States. This is old news, LW pablum, already debunked back to 08' at least SHUP., you appear a a loon. Big Oil is necessary. If any subsidies go out, I vote Energy.

I won't go look it up again. I avoid media as much as posdible since stolen 2029.

I wasn't aware that Big Oil was suffering so much that they needed tens of billions of subsidies.

Say what you will about wind and solar. At least we don't export them.

Wind and solar are unreliable and don't work (like city Stain) for massive populations.

Enjoy you panel at your RV lot or put one in your lake cabin but SHUP until it works. Get off us//
