I get notifications from Chess.com all the time saying my opponent cheated, even at 5-minute gamesI'm open to quicker settings... like 5 minutes or 10 minutes flat.
It's a good idea. I'm a flexible GM who likes good ideas.
I’m going to assume if you’re going to try to cheat on a rag tag USMB tourney.. well.. good job LOLI get notifications from Chess.com all the time saying my opponent cheated, even at 5-minute games
Not sure how they know, but cheating is rampant, especially in tournament games on Chess.com.
It is what it is. I lost in a tournament not too long ago to someone ranked 500 points lower than myself who probably cheated as well.
I look at it as simply a way to improve when they do cheat instead of getting all bent out of shape about it.
Now if you pay money to enter a tournament, then I tend to get upset if they try to cheat.
I once played a tournament over the board with this guy who kept getting up to go to the bathroom. He must have left about 20 times. Naturally, it raised some suspicion, but I still managed to win anyway.I’m going to assume if you’re going to try to cheat on a rag tag USMB tourney.. well.. good job LOL
Either that or there was a $18 charge at 2 am the previous night from Taco BellI once played a tournament over the board with this guy who kept getting up to go to the bathroom. He must have left about 20 times. Naturally, it raised some suspicion, but I still managed to win anyway.
Must have had a prostate problem. LOL.
Toddsterpatriot you want in?
On the site it’s 15/10 mode, meaning it’s a 15 minute game with an added 10 seconds each move. This is my first post because this is one of the first threads I saw. I like chess, but it's so intense that I need to space out my moves. If I play too long, then the combination of work and playing such a game washes me out.
I assume this online site has the usual customized settings. I didn't catch how long between moves in this thread. Even if it's short I might still like to play. Are you going for 16 participants?
it’s free to play other selected peopleWould love to. Have no CHESS on PC and no login account and don't want another account and password and cost? Can't be free to play selected strangers?

And the first tournament I did was 8, I’m aiming for that this time
