Have fun. I enjoy parades and festivals. I HIGHLY doubt there is anything like that in NC and I am not real sure I would attend because I am not gay,I don't know any gay folks,even though I support their rights I really no interest in attending something like that...

I'll bet you do but don't know it.

This year I'm skipping the parade and will be going right to the Festival...leaving in about 30-50 minutes. Hope I can find parking within 10 miles of the place. And I will do my best to refrain from beating up any anti-gay protesters outside the festival gates.

Be careful---people get shot doing that.

Well, several San Diego churches, including the Roman Catholic Church DO set up booths at the festival.

That's because their charge is to reach out to sinners and lead them to a right path. Not because they're sponsoring it. Particulary the Roman Catholic Church.
