The "public" won't pay less because Trump is president. The "public" is too self centered to understand that trump wasn't why they paid less and Biden wasn't why they paid more. So if the"public" wants to believe a lie about trump enough to elect him, the "public" will find out that they will pay more and more, while the well off president tells them how he is saving the economy.

The "public" does care about possibly getting $25,000 in downpyment assistance to buy a home. The "public" does care about getting a $50,000 tax credit to stsrt a business. Te "public" does care about getting $6,000 to help with child care in their first years of life. The "public" does care about attempts to stop the ones who really caused them to pay more by attacking the price gouging companies who raised prices fter the pandemic and then bragged about how they made record profits. Te "public" cares about being able to keep the AHCA. The "public" cares about getting homecare added to medicare benefits. The " pubic" cares about keeping insuLin capped at 35 dollars. All of these things are what Harris proposes which will alow the "public" to have more left over after they pay their bills. Trump doesn't offer these things and of course these things are contingent upon having a democratic majority becuse if Harris is elected without one she is going to get more right wing obstruction than Obama did. If thot happens, the same people will run their mouths about her being ineffective and in over her head insted of how congress is sabotaging her and obstructing progress.
