I'm not so fearful of a recession, because it would require the fed to cut rates. The tariffs - which are much more than just recipricol tariffs on countries that put tariffs or unfair trade on us - could lead to both inflation and a drop in consumer spending. Even a moderate combination of something like 4% inflation and a gnp drop of even 1% would reduce the US ECONOMY BY FIVE PERCENT and the same time our interest payments start coming due

Not that I'd ever vote for the bern, his princess or slo joe.
