In addition, circumstances surrounding a situation are never the same and what once worked, does not guarantee success the next time. Our inflation was controlled in 2016. Inflation is not controlled totally right now. In 2016, inflation was not sensitive to actions. Right now, inflation is very sensitive. In 2016, there were no supply and demand issues involved. Because of the pandemic and the damage that it caused, supply and demans issues are much different than in 2016 and actions such as Tariffs will impact those much more now than then.

Once last thing. You do know that the tariffs that Trump put on China the first time, did end up costing us more than the benefits it brought, don't you?
