2025 Buffalo Bills

I'm still shocked by that incident! It was so malicious, while people still think Sanders is charming! I couldn't get over him doing that not once, but twice! Carver kept his cool, almost congratulating Deion for being so petulant as he recovered from being douced w/ water on live TV! :( :stir: :dunno:
I think the Patriots win the Super Bowl over the Seahawks 30 to 27. My brain says New England wins but I am rooting for Seattle because I want to see other teams win multiple Super Bowls. I wish my Bills could be as successful as the New England Patriots. I wish the Bills hired Brian Daboll.

I was just considering a similar thought: no one has played more games nor come farther than the Pats! But then I looked at the rather pushover teams they've played, some pretty good but many actually pretty flawed---
  • The Dolphins
  • The Chargers
  • The Texans, good defense but goofy offense
  • The Broncos (in a white out against a Denver team w/o their #1 QB)
Compared to who the Seahawks have beat: San Francisco and the LA Rams, and I just don't see the Patriots winning this game. In fact, I'm kinda hoping they get their teeth knocked in.

What can you say about the Bills: For years the argument was that Tom Brady, MaHomes, or someone else stood in their way but all those people are gone now or out of the picture and Buffalo still just keeps knocking on the door promising a championship year after year but somehow they always keep missing the bus-stop.

I know they say defenses win Championships but Drake Maye is too good of a QB. Brandon Beane is part of the problem with the Bills. It does not make sense to get rid of Sean McDermott and keep Brandon Beane.

He has the same problem as Cincy's, Joe Burrows though! They both get sacked too often! I see Maye might have a shoulder issue after some guy fell on top of him in NFC Chp.! :dunno::stir:

No doubt Drake is the real deal. But I've heard the very valid argument also that it takes a good passing offense to win these days. That you must be able to put up big numbers every game, and I was pretty persuaded by that for a long time, but then recently I heard an even better argument that the backbone of any team is a really good defense--- so long as you have a decent offense able to run the ball and pass down the field and score, the defense is essential in that a good defense keeps the other team from scoring and off the field so while you continue to put up points, they languish behind. You can't win a game if your offense is never on the field.

I think Maye is fine. I think the Pats are just playing mind games with the Hawks.

True. I would like to see the Seahawks win. I would also like to see the Lions, Browns, Vikings, ect. win a Super Bowl too just like my Bills. :)

I hope so. That can only make the game more interesting. I love a devious team.

Wouldn't that be great if while Seattle played a straight-forward attack type game of pure domination, the Pats come in with twisters and corkscrews always catching Seattle with their pants down and out-thinking them.

I see no light at the end of the tunnel with Cleveland. It seems like just one befuddling decision or problem after the other. And they actually have a really good defense! Myles Garrett is lights out.

I think Cleveland and Detroit and Minnesota just need a great QB like Josh Allen to win a Super Bowl.

Detroit & Minn. have both had great QB's, but tend to find ways to trade away, then watch them produce better outside of their organization! The Detroit Lions had Stafford for many yrs. & Minn. had Darnold QB'n the Vikings for a season! What else ya got? :nono: :p:auiqs.jpg:

at least we got the Sabres. the Sabres are in third place in the Atlantic Conference. I do not follow hockey but I have been seeing the scores of the games on ESPN and the Sabres keep winning. :) and I felt awful that Jessica Pegula lost in the SemiFinals of the Australian Open. Go Sabres! :)

Maybe the Browns will hire McDermott.

Wouldn't that be funny if they did then all of a sudden, the Browns were kicking Buffalo's ass.

Two top guys on Sirius NFL CH (they do shows like "moving the chains" etc.) today both said the BUFF catch was catch. Yes they say it was a catch. Said the NFL is wildly inconsistent. Said What is a catch? Nobody knows anymore?

Also mentioned the non-call New Orleans robbed of a SB and the Rams got to go.

Browns job was filled? Only two left are AZ and OAK. The jobs nobody wants? You want Brady on your back making you start Gino?

AZ has some players. But enough of that rotten bust QB Murray. He's had enuff chances. The backup did better, became #1.

it's not Oakland anymore, it is the Las Vegas Raiders.

Well, tru dat. There is no controversy there. Without a doubt the rules and officiating suck, no one knows how to defend, how to sack a QB, how to tackle one that runs out of the pocket and refuses to slide until he gets 1st Down, no one knows what a catch is, what a TD is, how to hit a guy or anything in part because of all of the complexity and second guessing and painstaking slo-mo instant replay that never really settles anything and the fact that in large part, there is such wide INCONSISTENCY in penalty calling, one minute a guy is getting killed or is all over a receiver with no penalty then a minute later they are throwing 15 yard flags for absolutely nothing, or because someone actually got upset or celebrated a little like a competitor.

The NFL is taking all of the sport out of sport.

the Bills are one of a few teams that do not have cheerleaders. I heard the Bills refused to pay the Buffalo Jills cheerleaders. I think the cheerleaders are an integral part of the football game experience for fans and the Bills should pay the Jills.

They don't have cheerleaders neither? I know the Steelers don't, I did not know other teams didn't too. Maybe it is because of the cold weather? At least Cleveland has their Brownie mascot (but Brownie seems to have disappeared now).

I don't know what is so hard about having cheerleaders, how much can it cost compared to what they already spend? Another weird thing I know of: I think Pittsburgh is the only team to only have their logo on one side of their helmet, Cleveland of course having no logo at all (except just brown).

yes, it has been several years since the Bills had the Jills cheerleaders. and the Browns helmets are orange, not brown. I think the Bills have the best logo in the NFL and all of sports.
